There’s a new game in town, and it involves a proven mothership concept!

It is not often you come across a program that makes almost perfect sense but this new Andros destination certainly does. It involves the use of a deluxe yacht to access some of the best flats fishing grounds in the world today. Come and enjoy a four or five day program where your group is running the show, not the lodge or guide, a program where you enjoy personal attention, unmatched comfort, gourmet cuisine and those incredible Androsian sunsets.

There’s a new game in town, and it involves a proven mothership concept. Let us introduce you to an angler’s fantasy realized. In the remote southwest Andros, part of the West Side National Park, is a pristine saltwater wilderness, uninhabited and wild, bursting with bird and sea life. Miles of wadeable sand flats, mangrove-lined creeks, and a zigzag of countless islets create a home for schools of bonefish that can color acres of flats shimmering silver. The plentiful population of resident tarpon layup in the creeks and on the outer Grand Bahama Bank, then roam across the white-bottomed flats with the tides. These masses of fish swim in waves that ripple the water across a hundred square yards, while their larger kin cruise the edges of sand bars that drop off into turquoise cuts. No lodges, no people, and the only way to access this region is by enduring long, boat rides from southeastern Andros or even longer runs from the North and Middle Bights. You’ll access the flats in new Beavertails Skiffs piloted by the best local guides.

The 74-foot Hatteras takes the live-aboard lifestyle to a new level, and while being out on the flats always takes top billing, why not hang-out, relax, eat, drink, and sleep in unmatched comfort and style. And the key here is the outstanding crew—professional captain, gourmet chef, guest experience specialist, plus superior guides. The dedicated crew is there to pamper you. Your private chef prepares creative and fresh Island cuisine each day on board, and packs your Yeti coolers with savory lunches, snacks, and ice cold drinks to keep your energy up when out on the skiffs. At the end of the day, compare notes on the open upper deck while sipping your favorite beverage and watching the sunset. And for supper? Enjoy artistic presentations of just-caught seafood and locally grown produce in the spacious air-conditioned lounge cabin. Sleep peacefully in the well-appointed en suite Master or VIP staterooms.
